The world's definition:
The action or fact of accepting or yielding to a superior force or to the will or authority of another person.

God’s definition:
“Submitting means putting others before yourself; it means not always doing what you want to do. It means putting God’s desires above your desires."
What does the word say about marriage?
"Submit to one another out of reverence for Christ. Wives, submit yourselves to your own husbands as you do to the Lord..."
"So they are no longer two, but one flesh. Therefore what God has joined together, let no one separate".
"Though one may be overpowered, two can defend themselves. A cord of three strands is not quickly broken."
Is submission a struggle for you?
So many marriages today are struggling due to many factors. One of the main reasons is that we are not doing marriage God’s way by following His order. His order requires submission, which has become a nonexistent requirement for today’s strong, independent women. Ladies, there is strength in submission! We have to get back to His ways and rely on Him for the strength to do so to have the marriages our heart's desire. Join me on this journey of surrendering to submission and following God's will for our marriages.
